Our story
NNTR pickels began the way most good things in an Andhra home do — with a mortar, a heavy kadai, and a family that takes its food seriously. What started as jars made for our own table soon found their way to friends, neighbours and then customers across Vijayawada.
Nothing is mass-produced here. Every batch is small: mangoes cut by hand at the right firmness, chillies ground fresh, gongura picked and pounded the day it arrives, chicken and prawns cooked slowly in oil and spice until the flavour settles deep. It is the same patience our grandmothers practised — just measured now in jars instead of days.
Alongside the pickles we grind a small range of podis — curry leaf, kaaram, seenaga, daniya — for the simplest, most comforting meal of all: hot rice, a spoon of ghee, and nothing else needed.
We make what we would happily serve our own family, and we send it out only when we would serve it to them. That is the whole promise.
